We started our own little tiny branch of Roots and Shoots (yup, pun intended) up here in rural MN last year. Mainly what we try to do is earth/environmental portion of R&S because some of the other goals of R&S are not as easily done here.
I loved reading the history of Roots and Shoots, it's so interesting! Jane Goodall is a hero for anyone.

This sounds awesome! I had not heard about Roots and Shoots - I'll have to check it out.
